Growing up, my first venue for the National Anthem was the little league All-Star game at Roemer Park in Wilmette. I went on to sing at many New Trier basketball & football games, and then in 2005, I had the opportunity to sing before a Chicago White Sox game at U.S. Cellular field. It was a dream come true and from then on I dreamed of Wrigley. In 2018, with the help of my best friend Tom Molitor & Dot Productions, I launched a GoFundMe to raise money for Special Olympics & to make a proposition to the Chicago Cubs — if I could raise $5000, would they let me sing the anthem before a Cubs game? By the end of the campaign, we’d raised over $18,000 & the Cubs had reached out — September 10, 2018 was the big day. It was another dream come true and the Cubs matched the GoFundMe donation. While of course my sights are now set on the Bulls & the Bears, I look forward to every chance I get to perform.
